We hired Ireland Decorators to sand, stain and re-finish all of our hardwood floors. As part of the job, we needed new strips of flooring to be added where a wall had been removed between two rooms. We handed Mr. Ireland our housekey and left our house for a week's holiday. When we returned, the work was done to perfection. Our previously tired old flooring had been brought back to life. The scratches and wear marks were gone. With the new colour and clear coat all done, our rooms are now vibrant and stunning. The section where new boards were fitted to blend with the existing flooring, the match was completely integrated. One would never know there had ever been a wall there. We are absolutely delighted with the work and we highly recommend Ireland Decorators to anyone sourcing professional, reliable flooring services.

We just wanted to let you know how thrilled we are with our new living room wood floor!We have always wanted to take out the carpet and expose the original hardwood floors, but really had no idea what was involved. We thought it would cost a fortune and we hated the way the old finish of the wood floors had discoloured. You promptly came over and gave us an estimate, outlined what would happen and when, and by the next week things were underway. It was great to be able to sample a few colours on the floor itself as opposed to looking at a little pamphlet the result is just so beautiful. The dark walnut stain colour is even richer looking than we thought. I recently purchased a 60 year old home and took up wall to wall carpeting to expose the original hardwood. Much to my dismay, the hardwood was littered with approximately 200 nails. The nails were 2 inches long with 1/4" heads. I had several reputable flooring contractors look at my floors. Ireland Decorators was the only one that was confident that they could repair and refinish my floors. They worked diligently and professionally to complete the job. I am thrilled with the results and they saved me approximately $7,000.00 since Ireland Decorators were able to refinish my existing wood floors and I did not need to install a new floor.
